thedailyonlinenews.com 8 September 2012 WYOMING — Karen L. von Sanden, 64, of Wyoming died Thursday (Sept. 6, 2012) at Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw following a lengthy illness. She was born Oct. 18, 1947, in Warsaw, daughter of the late Stuart and Marion Davis Christ. She was a graduate of Warsaw Central School and worked for several years as a home health aid for Wyoming Area Homemakers. Karen enjoyed reading, her cats and her penguin and cat collectibles. Surviving are her husband of 26 years, Alfred von Sanden; her sons, Mark (Robin) Randall of Plattsburgh, Paul Holota of Virginia Beach, Va.; her stepchildren, Alfred “Butch” von Sanden of Wyoming, Tim (Jody) von Sanden of Pavilion, Heidi Black of Webster; her step grandchildren, Kelli (Chauncy) Baker, Jennie Rupp, Erik von Sanden, Jacqueline von Sanden, Timmy von Sanden and Zoe Black; her step great-grandchildren Lily and Mary Baker. She was the step mother of the late Christa Rupp. There are no calling hours. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 North Main St., Warsaw.
