Robert C. Hubbard

Robert C. Hubbard, 65, of Webster died Sept. 2, 2012, at home.

He was born July 30, 1947, in Warsaw, son of the late Lawrence and Erma Upright Hubbard.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served in Vietnam where he was wounded in action. He was a recipient of the Purple Heart. He was employed for several years in apartment maintenance and played drums in bands in Wyoming County and Rochester.

Surviving are his step mother, Marilyn Hubbard of Perry; his son, Jaimie (Tammy) Hubbard of Webster; his sister, Cindi (Tom) Hughes of Silver Springs; his brother, Roger (Melanie) Hubbard of Perry; his grandchildren, Cameron Hubbard and Hanna Hubbard; his nephew and nieces, Aaron Robert Barnes of Washington, D.C., Cassie Hughes of Silver Springs, Katie Hughes of Silver Springs; and his great nephew, Parker Hughes.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 North Main St., Warsaw, where a service with military honors will be held immediately following calling hours at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to East Side Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Nursing Services, 62 Prospect St., Warsaw, NY 14569.
